Education

Here are just a few of the educational opportunities at Congregation Ner Tamid:
  • Early childhood education, including our highly acclaimed Preschool and Tot Shabbat
  • Religious School (K through 12th Grade). Our curriculum explores the Jewish Holidays, Bible stories, Jewish values and ethics, life cycle, history, Israel, and as part of our program students are taught to read Hebrew.
  • Bar and Bat Mitzvah program that addresses the educational, spiritual and social needs of our students and families
  • Our Confirmation and High School program are filled with topics that are both relevant and important for today's teens. A highlight of the High School experience at Congregation Ner Tamid is a trip to Washington DC where students can engage in face to face lobbying with our Congressional representatives on topics important to them.
  • Youth Programming for all 3 - 12 graders offers a wide variety of social opportunities to build friendships and strong Jewish connections.
  • Adult Learning throughout the year, including Scholar-in-Residence programs, ongoing adult Hebrew (beginners through adult b'nai mitzvah), "A Taste of Judaism" series and book club.
