MembershipBecome Part of our Family of FamiliesCongregation Ner Tamid is a dynamic Jewish community! Our members are friendly and diverse and we offer wonderful activities for people of all ages and interests. We are a family of families committed to Judaism from generation to generation (L'Dor v'Dor). Check out our worship services and our many educational and social events and experience the spiritual and intellectual richness of our community! In addition to our regular Friday night Shabbat services at 7:30pm, we also offer a Tot Shabbat Service at 6:30pm. once per month. For those interested in continuing their study and prayers we offer a Shabbat Morning Experience. Shabbat morning Adult Education begins at 9am, followed by a morning service at 10:00am and concludes with Torah Study from 11:00am - 12:00pm. Congregation Ner Tamid is under the religious leadership of Sr. Rabbi Sanford Akselrad and Rabbi Len Zukrow. In addition, we are fortunate to have Cantorial Soloist Philip Goldstein. Our staff also consists of; Executive Director, Nancy Weinberger; Early Childhood Education Director, Lonnie Kritzler; Catering & Rental Director, Roberta Unger; Program Director, Beth Bowman; Finance Director, Linda Rosen; Young Adult & Singles Coordinator, Rebecca Phillips; 55+ Senior Social Group Coordinator, Joyce Herlands. All of our staff are waiting to hear from you and ready to be of assistance in meeting your needs. Congregation Ner Tamid is fortunate to be able to provide some outstanding programs such as: Chavurot, Youth Groups, Mitzvah Day, Bikkur Cholim, Adult Education, Young Adult Groups, Social Action, Leadership Training and Development, Sisterhood, Men's Club, and a plethora of additional programs.
