Leon H. Friedman Youth Scholarship Fund for Jewish Leadership & Values
This fund is used primarily to support student participation in Panim, the institute for Jewish Leadership and Values. This unique program brings Jewish high school students from across the Jewish religious and educational spectrum to Washington, D.C. to learn about political activism and civic engagement in the context of Jewish values and principles.
Rabbi's Discretionary Fund
This fund allows our Rabbi to provide support for creative programs at the Temple that are not part of our yearly budget. In addition, this fund allows the Rabbi to help many in our Temple and in the community who are in need of temporary aid through difficult times.
Cantor's Discretionary Fund
Provides support and expansion to our Temple music program. This fund is used to purchase musical equipment, supplies, and to bring in special performers for our music program.
Library Fund
This fund allows the Temple to purchase books on Jewish subjects, both fiction and non-fiction. Members and non-members alike are frequent visitors to our library. Our need for a larger number and greater variety of books is very important and deeply felt.
General Operating Fund
Provides for the overall maintaining of our Temple budget. Membership dues provide only a portion of what it takes to run a Temple. Generous support of this fund allows our Temple to grow and provide additional creative programs to our membership. This fund helps the Temple provide the highest quality of programs and services in the Southern Nevada community.
Children's Library Fund
There is nothing more delightful than seeing a child engrossed in a good book. This fund helps to purchase quality books for our Temple Children's Library. Contributions to this fund are greatly needed and appreciated, whether they be in monies or in actual book donations. With your help, our young children will always have a JEWISH book to read.
Building Maintenance Fund
This fund provides for the upkeep and maintenance of our facility. It insures that the congregation will enter into a secure, safe and clean facility.
Religious School Fund
Provides important funds that enable the Temple to provide a sound Jewish education for all families pursuing a Jewish education for their child / children.
Early Childhood Education Fund
Provides funding for our Gary & Lynn Kantor Early Childhood Education Center for play equipment, educational toys, as well as other supplies to insure that our school is fun, safe and exciting for our youngest children.
Youth Activities Fund
Provides support to our Temple Youth Groups: ITTY BTTY NTTY (3rd - 5th grade), TNT Teens of Ner Tamid (grade 6th - 8th), NTTY Ner Tamid Temple Youth (grade 9th through 12th)
Holiday Outreach
This fund provides support to the Temple Holiday Basket program from the Chesed committee. Four times per year baskets with holiday appropriate items are delivered to those who are homebound or recovering from a recent illness.
