TRIBUTES are an important way to show family and friends that you share their joys and sorrows while supporting the Congregation! A Tribute Letter will be sent to the family you designate. Growth and Success
Provides to the overall success of our Temple budget. Membership dues provide only a portion of what it takes to run a Temple. Generous support to this fund allows our Temple to grow and offer additional creative programs to our membership. This fund helps the Temple provide the highest quality of programs and services in the Southern Nevada community.
The chesed (caring) committee is a group of wonderful members who reach out to our CNT congregants and extended Jewish community in a way that brings cheer and support. Whether it is visiting the sick, or delivery holiday baskets to congregants who are homebound, or in hospitals, rehab and nursing homes, the Chesed committee is always helpful.
Provides funding for our Gary & Lynn Kantor Early Childhood Education Center for play equipment, educational toys, as well as other supplies to insure that our school is fun, safe and exciting for our youngest children.
Leon H. Friedman Youth Scholarship fund for Jewish Leadership & Values
This fund is used primary to support student participation in the Confirmation trip. Every other year they travel to New York City. The unique program is an opportunity for the Confirmation class to bond with the CNT clergy and to learn about the rich Jewish history New York City has to offer. On the alternate year, their trip are to Atlanta and Selma. Etgar 36 is dedicated to developing the future Jewish political voice by taking them on journeys. On the road students will become empowered to get involved politically and socially to change the world.

Common Good Fund
Dedicated to educating and training citizens to participate in public life. Diverse institutions work together to build relationships, find common ground on issues, and act in nonpartisan ways to improve life for all Nevadans.
Friendly Visitor Fund
The Friendly Visitor program is an intergenerational visiting program. It's mission is to address senior social isolation and enhance the lives of the CNT elderly through one-on-one matched visits to frail, elderly individuals.
Lifelong Learning Fund
A donation to the lifelong learning fund helps with the cost of the many classes we provide to adults such as Adult B’nai Mitzvah, Hebrew, Taste of Judaism as well as may others.
Amy M. Spector
The Amy M. Spector Scholarship Fund was established in 2001 in loving memory of Ira and Nan Spector’s daughter and Libby Spector Harber’s granddaughter. A scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who wishes to attend a Jewish camp during the summer.
Amy loved camp and friends and family members felt that helping others attend camp would be a wonderful way to honor her memory.
CNT’s Wish List Fund
Are you looking for that perfect gift for a special occasion or a Temple mitzvah? Do you want to help with “stuff” for the CNT schools, catering supplies, office needs, Rabbi and Cantorial extras? We’d like to give you suggestions and help you decide what fits with your needs and your desire to add where you can to our CNT treasures. This fund allows the Temple to purchase books on Jewish subjects, both fiction and non-fiction. Members and non-members alike are frequent visitors to our library. Our need for a larger number and greater variety of books is very important and deeply felt.
Holiday Outreach Fund
This fund provides support to the Temple Holiday Basket program from the Chesed committee. Four times per year baskets with holiday appropriate items are delivered to those who are homebound or recovering from a recent illness.
Children’s Library Fund
There is nothing more delightful than seeing a child engrossed in a good book. This fund helps to purchase quality books for our Temple Children’s Library. Contributions to this fund are greatly needed and appreciated, whether they be in monies or in actual book donations. With your help, our young children will always have a JEWISH book to read.
Rabbi Akselrad’s Discretionary Fund
This fund allows our Rabbi to provide support for creative programs at the Temple that are not part of our yearly budget. In addition, this fund allows the Rabbi to help many in our Temple and in the community who are in need of temporary aid through difficult times.
Cantor Hutchings’ Discretionary Fund
Provides support and expansion to our Temple's music program. This fund is used to purchase musical equipment, supplies, and to bring in special performers for our music program.
NextGen @ CNT Fund
NextGen creates opportunities for the young adults of the Las Vegas Jewish community to come together in a relaxed and open environment. It offers both spiritual and social events.
