 n to share her “Jewish journey” and why she converted from Catholicism
 .\n\nColleen Freedman is a former choreographer who danced with the likes 
 of Backstreet Boys\, Katy Perry\, Lady Gaga\, and Paula Abdul and worked o
 n multiple TV shows and movies including “Dancing with the Stars\,” 
 “Glee\,” “La La Land\,” “The Greatest Showman\,” and “True B
 lood.” This fall\, she’ll earn her Juris Doctor and Masters of Busines
 s Administration degree at UNLV.\n\n“It is a deeply personal journey and
  one that I typically would not address publicly\,” Freedman said\, “b
 ut I find it important to share our stories as they may inspire others. Ou
 r stories are what makes life interesting!”\n\nFreedman grew up Catholic
  in the Midwest but discovered there was a family faction with Jewish root
 s. She credits her husband Pauly Freedman as the catalyst that brought her
  to Judaism and CNT for cultivating and fostering her relationship with th
 e religion.\n\n“When I moved to Las Vegas eight years ago\, I knew very 
 few people\,” Freedman said. “CNT was the first community in Las Vegas
  where I felt I belonged and it gave me a sense of identity and belonging.
  It continues to be a place that is a reliable and consistent community in
