Congregation Ner Tamid will be offering Summer Camp Programs this summer. In addition to our pre-school program, we will be offering specialty camps for children in grades kindergarten and up as well.



Camp Chavarim

-Ages 2-5 (must be 5 by 9/30/18)

-Available weeks of June 4th-July 16th

-2, 3 and 5 full and halfday options

-7 weeks of themes, entertainment, discovering new things,, making new friends (Chaverim) and having fun. Come all 7 weeks or choose the weeks/days that fit your summer schedule.

-Half-Day: 9:00 am – 12:30 pm

-Full-Day: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Drama Kids International

-It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s ???? Participants will find their inner super hero during this week of non-stop, action-packed fun for all! Creativity is sure to “take flight” as campers create their own superhero characters, imaginative super powers, superhero logo, masks, accessories, and adventures with other young superheroes! Imaginations will run wild as young play-writes use their creativity to develop great scenes – created, directed, and performed entirely by THEM! Our campers will bring the house down during their end of camp Playhouse Presentation.


Art Starts Here

-Grades K-6

-June 25th-June 29th

-9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

-Meet the masters this summer at art camp. Enjoy drawing, painting and sculpting. Create your own works of art, taking inspiration from Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh and other artists. Campers/artists will be exposed to the fundamentals of art, music, and art history. Anyone can learn to create art, and with us campers learn to further develop their already natural creative talents, have fun, and end the week with feelings of accomplishment.

Thinkers, Tinkers, Makers

-Do you love to Tinker, Make, Hack, or Play?
-Come and join us for Creative Computer Coding, MakeyMakey, LittleBits and Modular robotics construction & challenges, hands on STEAM activities, make & take activities, and making efforts for special appeal to Girls as well as Boys with Tech!

Mad Science

-Grades K-6

-July 23rd-July 27th

-9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.

-Mad Science camps are packed with fun STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities. We balance learning and fun with interactive hands-on events. Our energetic instructors accelerate the learning process and fascinate children. All skill levels are welcome. Children are given fun and educational take home prizes every day. Come celebrate the joy of summer with us! Every day of camp will be a new and exciting adventure into the wonderful world of science. Will we learn about Air, Animals, Chemistry, Space, or something else today? Let’s find out! We will learn a new topic every day.


Hebrew Boot Camp

-Grades 2-7

-July 30th-August 3rd

-9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

-In the Hebrew Boot Camp, your child will review the letters of the alef-bet. They will learn their vowels and how to put them together with the letters to form basic words. They will learn how to read Hebrew phrases. Children will also learn Hebrew conversation. By the end of the week, they will know 12 Hebrew conversational phrases. Their Hebrew vocabulary will be built as well. They will learn their Hebrew numbers, colors, months of the year, days of the week, clothing, body parts, family words, pet words, etc. This will all happen in a warm, inviting atmosphere with lots of games and lots of fun!! By the end of the week, your child should feel much more comfortable with Hebrew. They will leave with a healthy and positive attitude to start the school year.
