AS PART OF CONGREGATION NER TAMID’S year-long 50th Anniversary celebration, CNT’s Film Chavurah is producing a year of special programming, presenting movies at CNT featuring Jewish actors and/ or Jewish plot lines. On Tuesday, March 26, at 6:00 p.m., CNT’s Film Chavurah will present “Here Today,” a 2021 American comedy-drama film directed and produced by Billy Crystal. The film focuses on veteran comedy writer Charlie Burnz (Billy Crystal ) who meets New York street singer Emma Payge (Tiffany Haddish). They form an unlikely yet hilarious and touching friendship that kicks the generation gap aside and redefines the meaning of love and trust.
