Lifelong Jewish Learning is alive and well at Congregation Ner Tamid.
One of the fundamental ways our children learn is from observing what their parents, grandparents and other role models do. Participation in adult Jewish learning sends an ongoing, important message to younger generations that continued growth and development of our Jewish knowledge is a priority. Come be a part of that message. Your participation and attendance in adult Jewish programs and events is sincerely encouraged. Together we will engage in learning and fulfill our commitment to the advancement of our Jewish-selves. You never know what you might learn!
Please contact the Temple office at (702) 733-6292 for more information about adult education classes.
CNT’s Social Action/ Social Justice Committee and the Adult Education Committee
are teaming up to co-sponsor a series of classes called, “Jewish Views On …”
Facilitated by Rabbi Cookie Lea Olshein, each session of this three-part Zoom series
will focus on texts from the Torah and Talmud, as well as classical Jewish commentaries.
Rabbi Olshein encourages attendees to come with questions and
be ready to participate in meaning-filled conversations about our sacred texts and traditions.
This series is free and open to all with RSVP, although class size is limited to encourage conversation.
Register for each session individually on the CNT website calendar so we’ll know to expect you on Zoom!
