Meyer Wertheimer – Saturday, April 6, 2024
Meyer Wertheimer will become Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, April 6, at 10:00 a.m. at Congregation Ner Tamid. He will read from the Parshat Shemini. Meyer is a Visual Arts 7th grade student at Thurman White Academy where he participates in Junior Quiz Bowl and Flag Football. Meyer also enjoys combat sports. He has been studying mixed martial arts and self-defense at the Center for Israeli Martial Arts for 3 years. He recently began wrestling and is anxious to have more time available for training.
For Meyer’s Bar Mitzvah Project, he has chosen to work with Project AngelFaces by working in community gardens.
