CNT’s “That’s So 90s” Purim Spiel and Carnival takes place Sunday, March 5, 2023.

The Purim Spiel, at 10:30 a.m., will feature popular songs from the 1990s, and the Purim Carnival, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., will feature Activity Stations, Bounce Houses, a Live DJ, a Gaga Pit, a Game Truck, Hair Tinsel, Food Trucks, Hot Dogs and Burgers, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, Kona Ice, Mitzvah Projects, an Obstacle Course, Paint the Cantor, a Preschool Area & Train, a Raffle, and more… Phat costumes are encouraged!
CNT Members Jeff Leibow and Colleen Freedman are helping CNT’s Cantor Jessica Hutchings produce the Spiel! Leibow is an actor and producer who starred in the internationally acclaimed musical “Jersey Boys” and Freedman is a choreographer who danced with the likes of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Paula Abdul. At the Spiel, expect to hear all the different musical genres of the nineties including music by Ace of Base, Backstreet Boys, Hootie and the Blowfish, Michael Jackson, Alanis Morissette, No Doubt, The Rembrandts, Britney Spears and The Spice Girls.
There will also be several Mitzvah opportunities presented by CNT’s Social Action committee. Help save lives by entering a marrow registry, registering for Narcan training, and donating blood.
