CNT’S RAISE THE ROOF CAMPAIGN
Our roof has fallen, but you are the pillars who raise us up.
In October 2025, our warm, inviting, holy, amazing synagogue experienced
water gushing through the ceiling of our Sanctuary.
Our Sifrei Torah, schools, and more are at risk of significant damage.
We need a new roof, in addition to other essential replacements.
Help us keep our building thriving for years to come.
Help us Raise a new Roof!

A message from CNT Temple President Michael Levy:
Shalom Friends,
Your support of Congregation Ner Tamid sustains a vibrant and welcoming Jewish community. For more than fifty years, CNT has been a place to celebrate milestones, learn, pray, and find comfort.
Under the visionary and spiritual leadership of Rabbi-Cantor Jessica Hutchings, CNT has continued to be and continues to grow as a sanctuary of belonging… Where children laugh, adults learn, elders are honored, and every person is invited to bring their full heart into Jewish life.
This past year, your generosity made extraordinary things possible, and the list truly stretches a mile long. Your gifts have not only sustained us, they have empowered us to help others. That is the heart of CNT.
At the same time, our synagogue roof is in critical condition, and we are one significant storm away from serious damage to our sanctuary. This is not a future concern. It is a present and pressing responsibility that requires our immediate attention.
Our roof isn’t just failing… it HAS failed.
We have patched again and again throughout the year, storm after storm. Now, the situation is so precarious that our Torah Scrolls are at risk. We have moved them out of the ark into safer locations, even placing tarps to protect them from potential leaks.
This is our sacred sanctuary, and these Torah scrolls, the holiest artifacts of our tradition, guide us in pathways of righteousness. Together, let us protect our Torah, our sanctuary, and our remarkable spiritual home.
Let’s RAISE THE ROOF!
Together, we build this community. We sustain Judaism in our city because of the care and commitment each of you lends. It is an honor to be part of this holy work, and to walk with you into all the moments of 2026.
With gratitude,
Michael Levy, President
