They are using the funds to get vests with ceramic (bullet resistant) inserts and ballistic helmets.
Since October 8 the unit’s role has included mobilization and transporting of special forces, navigation,
securing convoy movements in the combat zone, and evacuating casualties using Humvees.
Most of the unit’s activities in the current conflict have taken place in or adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
“October 7th changed not only the lives of Israelis but Jews in the diaspora as well,” Rabbi Akselrad said.
“Our hearts have been broken, and I think about Israel every day. It is both my privilege and my passion to support Israel during this time.

DROP OFF DIAPERS AT KANTOR ECEC FOR ISRAEL
Jewish Nevada and the Israeli American Council are partnering with Baby’s Bounty to provide diapers to
young families in Israel who have been directly affected by the attacks and ongoing war in Israel.
Working with Convoy of Hope, an international disaster relief logistics coordinator, the Baby’s Bounty team is collecting
diapers, wipes, and funds which will be sent via cargo plane to the region.

CNT Religious School students created unique T-shirt designs for their Am Yisrael Chai T-Shirt Competition.
They voted on two winners, so Meyer Wertheimer’s design is featured on the front, and Isabella Newman’s design is featured on the back.
