Congregation Ner Tamid

Youth Groups

NTTY (9th-12th Grades)

Ner Tamid Temple Youth (NTTY) is a part of NFTY affiliated with Congregation Ner Tamid. NFTY is a movement that builds strong, welcoming, inspired communities through teen-powered engagement. Together, we pursue tikkun olam, personal growth, youth empowerment, and deep connections, all rooted in Reform Judaism.

NFTY’s Southwest Region encompasses Arizona; New Mexico; Southern Nevada; El Paso, TX; and Utah. NTTY is made up of teens in the 9th-12th grades. We are part of the family of Union for Reform Judaism camps and youth programs. URJ Youth provides young people with immersive Jewish experiences in North America, and around the world, including camps, Israel trips and social action/service learning travel programs.

NFTY membership is $125 for Temple Members $175 for Non-Members.

TNT (6th-8th Grades)

TNT is open to all sixth, seventh and eighth grade students at CNT. TNT means Teens of Ner Tamid. This group likes to be active! We go on outings and also help with making and baking Hamentaschen for sale at Purim Carnival. Last year we went on a great Sukkah Hop in the area and jumped and climbed at Rock N Jump. The students loved the Minute to Win It Party that ended our year. We are always open to student suggestions about what they would like to do. Our events are on Sundays right after Religious School and take place once a month.

Membership for TNT is also included with your Religious School registration. Some small fees for supplies and lunch are charged. Keep those friendships strong and join in on all the fantastic fun!

IBN (3rd-5th Grades)

IBN stands for Itty Bitty Ntty. This is our youngest youth group at CNT. IBN is open to all third, fourth and fifth grade students. Monthly events are planned for this group. Most activities are onsite and take place right after Religious School. We also do an occasional event off site. Last year we made chocolate lollipops and Hamentashen, painted ceramic Passover plates and cups, visited Rock N Jump for a great Chanukah party and ended the year with a Minute to Win It celebration. Membership for IBN is included with your Religious School registration. Some events have small fees to cover supplies, lunch or fee costs. Join us for fun, friendship and fabulous times.
